First Families of Stark County

The First Families of Stark County is a lineage society for members of the Stark County Chapter of the the Ohio Genealogical Society who are directly descendant from individuals that resided within the current boundaries of Stark County by  January 1st, 1821.

If you are interested in applying for the First Families of Stark County please download the Application and Rules and Procedures that are in the links below.  Fill out the application and mail it along with the $20 application fee to us at the address provided in the documentation.  Upon verification of your line you will then be placed on the First Families of Stark County class for the current year and will be presented with your certificate at our Annual banquet in November.  Your certificate will be mailed to you if you cannot attend the banquet.

The deadline for applications for each year is August 31th so please get them in before then if you wish to be in this year’s First Families class.
