Unless otherwise stated, meetings of the Stark County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of the month in Room 107 of the Trinity United Church of Christ at 3909 Blackburn Road Northwest in Canton, OH. Social time is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.
January 10: Society Business Meeting. – There will be no program for this meeting. We will be addressing various society issues, reviewing the last year and looking at issues that we will face in the new year. All members are strongly encouraged to come and participate.
February 14: Massillon and the Civil War - Christopher Craft from the Massillon Museum will join us to talk about Massillon during the Civil War.
March 16: Canton Classic Car Museum – On Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11 am, we will be going to the Canton Classic Car Museum at 6th and Market Avenue South. There is an admission fee, $7.50 and $6.00 for seniors and there is free off street parking in their lot on 6th Street SW. The museum is a very interesting place, and we hope many of the members will be able to join us.
April 11: Captives in Grey - Roger Pickenpaugh will discuss his book Captives in Grey which is about southern prisoners of war during the Civil War.
May 11: Field Trip to the Massillon Museum – On Saturday at 11 A.M. we will be having a field trip to the Massillon Museum

November 14: Banquet at the Massillon Women’s Club: This year’s banquet will be at the Massillon Women’s Club on Fourth Street in Massillon. Details will be forthcoming.
